ABOUT ANNA TRON

Anna graduated summa cum laude from Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA. There, she spent a lot of time studying different layers of channel theory, resulting in a rich understanding of what energetic patterning looks like through an acupuncture lens. Post graduation, the majority of her time has been spent buried in functional medicine, functional neurology, scalp acupuncture for neurological conditions, and craniosacral therapy. Today she has a very integrative practice, gently oscillating between the energetic component of both the meridian and craniosacral systems, and the strong structure of physiology. With one foot solidly in form, and the other dangling mystically in function- her approach is both powerful and gentle at the same time.

SPECIAL TRAINING

Formula Writing - 21 hours: This seminar provided a breakdown of different herb pairings, and how to combine them in ways to create a desired change in the body

Mastering Functional Blood Chemistry - 21 hours: In depth look at bloodwork, and the pathophysiological process behind the lab numbers. Strategies were introduced to restore normal physiology from lab numbers out of range. Presented lab reference ranges from a functional medicine standpoint.

Mastering the Thyroid - 21 hours: In depth look at the thyroid, and how to read a thyroid panel. All the pathways of action within that system were covered, and a series of natural supplements to correct any imbalance.

Gluten Sensitivity and Autoimmunity - 8 hours: The autoimmune mechanism was thoroughly covered, as well as how to implement changes anywhere in that mechanism. The molecular structure  of gluten was taught in relationship to its interaction with body tissue. Alot of dysfunctional physiological mechanisms were presented in relationship to an individual’s response to gluten, and strategies were introduced to aid in the body’s restoration of balance.

Mastering Brain Chemistry - 21 hours: A detailed overview of the central nervous system was presented, as well as neurotransmitter pathways of action, and how to nutritionally supplement their synthesis. Also discussed was the mechanism of a healthy brain vs that of  an unhealthy one. Ideas were presented to restore function, restore  blood flow,  and increase plasticity.

Functional Neurology Seminars -  Two 2-day seminars: Delving deeply in the the nervous system both anatomically and in terms of physical testing for disfunction. Ideas were presented to address neural plasticity, Creating  new neural pathways using dendritic branching was introduced as well as  how to recognize maladaptive ones and create an override system in the physiology.

Neuro-Acupuncture Institute - 1, 2 and 3 level training: graduating from the institute with 105 hours of training. The ideas and theories of Scalp acupuncture were taught in relationship to the areas of the brain the needles affect.. We saw live examples of its effectiveness in the manipulation of central and peripheral nervous system dysfunction.

Cranial Sacral Therapy - 4 weekend seminars, 3 through The Upledger Institute: multiple study groups and mentorship hours. Focus on the subtle movement of tissue in response to the flow of fluids through the body.  This provided me with a different way of manipulating dysfunctional patterning in tissues. This work has taught me to form a partnership with the body, as opposed to manipulating it.
